Helping You Navigate Life's Waves with Confidence

Personalized therapy for

children, teens, adults, couples, and families

throughout Texas.

Meet JaKeitha Shoemaker

As an educator turned therapist, I have gained a deep passion for culture, community, and healing. After spending years in the classroom, I witnessed firsthand how much unspoken emotions weigh young people, and the adults who care for them have. That experience led me to gain insight on the world of mental health. My goal is to offer support and let you know that healings is possible for everyone.

Being a BIPOC provider, I honor the importance of cultural identity in the healing journey. Whether you’re navigating life’s waves, working through trauma, or simply seeking a safe place to be seen and heard, I’m here to walk alongside you. I work with youth, young adults, and adults. My priority is to bring authenticity, compassion, and community to every session, because growth isn’t about avoiding the waves, it’s about learning to move with them.

Let’s Navigate This Together.

Support Starts Here

You’re in the right place if…..

  • You or your child is struggling with focusing, impulsivity, or emotional regulation.

  • Past experiences left emotional wounds that still haven’t closed yet.

  • Your teen is facing behavioral challenges that you can’t get a grasp on.

  • You feel like no one truly sees or understands what you’re going through.

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work with youth, young adults, and adults to process challenges, build coping skills, and move toward more calming waves with compassion, understanding and clarity.
